The Professional Art Easel was the first easel that created Klopfenstein Art Equipment 70 years ago.
The Pro Easel features an upper tilt arm clamp, with "V" jaws to grip stretchers up to 3" thick. It locks artwork in forward or back tilt position without twisting.
Raised and forward canted bottom foot enables you to stand close to your work, and forward tilt the easel up to 5° for charcoal or pastel work.
The rigid welded steel "H" frame design provides extra stability and support for larger work.
This easel will hold the largest artwork with the mast extending to 92” (with bottom tray lowered all the way down).
The smallest canvas this will hold with top mast and canvas tray secured is 6”. Distance between the two center pegs on the canvas tray is about 9”
The pinch and release “Auto locking” canvas tray, is every artists favorite mechanism. It adjusts up or down at the touch of a control trigger and instantly locks in place. While the tilt angle, and mast extension easily and securely lock into place by hand with steel lever handles. (as shown on safety sheet below)
Leg brace extensions attached to the bottom of the back leg; help provide extra stability for a more secure forward/backward tilt.
Easel folds flat to 6 1/2" for compact storage.
Weight 42 lbs., 58" high, 29" x 33" base.
Optional easel tray or watercolor arm quickly attach to your easel for ultimate versatility.
